About me

Hello!

My name is Sarah and I’m an award-winning fantasy and horror author.

 

On top of writing dark fantasy, urban fantasy, horror, and thriller novels, I teach English Language Arts and AP Psychology at a creative arts high school. My students inspire me every single day and I am SO grateful to be a part of their stories.

 

I’m currently co-chair of the San Diego chapter of the Horror Writers Association, a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association, and San Diego Writers, Ink. 

 

I find power and healing from the natural world around me and am in constant battle to save my indoor houseplants from my cat-children, Hans and Franklin.

Brief Bio:

Sarah Faxon, who publishes under S. Faxon, is a dark fantasy, horror, and urban fantasy author. Sarah is the author of the books: The Animal Court, Foreign & Domestic Affairs, Tiny Dreadfuls, Origins: The Blue Dragon Society, co-writer of Lost Aboard and How to Become A Successful Author Without Losing Your Mind. Sarah also has a number of short stories traditionally published and has recently released an article in the Teachers & Writers Collaborative. Sarah is also an English Language Arts high school teacher. Sarah is currently co-chair of the San Diego chapter of the Horror Writers Association, one of the Co-Chairs of the StokerCon2024 Committee, and a member of San Diego Writers, Ink.
